  • root growth - penetrates the subsoil,
    breaks up the nutrients & allows
    moisture.
  • weeds that penetrate very deep bring
    up minerals from lower soils.
  • weeds seem to accumulate nutrients
    which the soil they are growing is
    DEFICIENT.  If these weeds are
    incorporated into that soil, they will
    re-nutrify it!
