Glass Recycling
Glass is so
abundant that
outsourcing the
recycling of glass is
quite expensive.
Everyone
everywhere has lots
of it. To ship it from
Peace River to a
glass recycling plant
is not viable.
The glass that
comes into the
Eco-Centre will be
crushed and
stored. The
Eco-Centre
manager is
currently working
on making
arrangements for
the glass to be
used in road bed
construction - to
be mixed with the
aggregate.
