| ... while there is a finite amount of metals, and it is so economical to recycle, they fluctuate in its market price. They are turned into building construction rebar (as there is such a mix of other metals in them). |

| These items must go to the Landfill. There are metal collection companies that must be hired by the Landfill to come and remove some parts and then crush these big items. The sheer amount of these appliances that must be saved before the crushing company comes, makes it impossible to save on a small site like the Eco-Centre. |
